mindfulness
Mindfulness encourages us to pay attention to what’s happening here and now and not thoughts about the past or future. It encourages us to feel more and react less. It encourages us to be curious. We become kinder to ourselves and others and ultimately we feel happier.
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is so much more than simply a way to relieve stress and anxiety but it does that too! It is a way of training the mind which has its roots in Buddhism. You can read more about the development of this course by Jon Kabat-Zinn here.
